Chief Executive Officer

Francis Augustus Wee is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of W Group Inc., the holding company behind leading business groups W Hydrocolloids, Inc., a world-class manufacturer of seaweed carrageenan, Marine Resources Development Corporation, one of the leading providers of innovative food ingredient solutions and products in the Philippines, and W Landmark Inc., W Group’s property management and real estate development business.

Francis also serves as the founder and CEO of W Landmark Inc., the premier property developer in the fastest growing business district in the Philippines, Bonifacio Global City, known for its iconic buildings such as W High Street, W Global Center, W Fifth Avenue, Citi Plaza, and W CityCenter. He has been leading the firm since 2008 and is responsible for securing several leases with multinational and locally listed companies such as Google, Cardinal Health, and Globe Telecom.

With Francis at the help of W Group Inc., he has secured several world-class property certifications, proving the company’s commitment to operating at par with global standards. To date, W Group properties have two Platinum LEED certifications for Citi Plaza and a Gold LEED certification for W CityCenter. The company has also been conferred with ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management across its premier boutique office buildings.

Prior to setting up the real estate arm of W Group Inc, Francis served as the Vice President for Human Resources (HR) of W Hydrocolloids Inc. where he managed various labor and legal matters for the company.

Apart from W Group Inc., Francis is also a director of Portuguese Realty Inc., Goldenwill Inc., Ticino Holdings Inc., and Hyopan Land Philippines Inc.

Francis holds a Business Management degree Major in Export Management from De La Salle University.
